Give Where You Live!

More than 6 million people in the United States have an intellectual and/or developmental disability. The contributions individuals with disabilities can provide to their communities are often overlooked or forgotten by society. Evergreen is on a mission to change that. For more than 60 years, Evergreen has strived to open the door of opportunity for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities so that they may fill their lives with dignity and purpose. Evergreen provides a full range of professional services that include community-based residential services, vocational training, job placement, life skills training, behavior support, day programs, and cultural art centers that helps more than 1,100 people with disabilities live a full and meaningful life.

After more than a year with many of our programs closed due to the pandemic, the individuals we support are eager to return to their communities, jobs, places of worship, and day programs. You can get them there faster by providing the funds needed to accelerate workforce training for a rapid transition back to employment, increase staffing, arts and crafts items for our cultural art centers, and so much more.

You provided a foundation that sustained our programs through a devastating hurricane season and winter storm in Louisiana and Texas. Your continued financial support will strengthen the foundation you created as we face uncertainty with reopening programs and a prediction for an overactive 2021 storm season.

Evergreen is excited to participate in several 2021 Giving Days. We invite you to make an impact and celebrate the gifts and talents people with disabilities can contribute to your community by donating to one of the Giving Day campaigns listed below.
