Need Help?

Independent Living Support

Evergreen provides a range of services that help the aging population and people who have become disabled remain active, safe and independent at home. We work with older adults and their caregivers to ensure the right services, living arrangements, and access to good health care, nutrition and benefits.

Individuals in our Independent Living Support program live alone or with roommates in the community. They receive a range of services depending on their level of need. Some individuals need someone to check in on them a few times a week and be provided with transportation to errands and doctors’ appointments. Others need daily support for help with cooking meals, getting dressed and staying on top of his or her medication. Some individuals need 24/7 care.

Respite Care

Everyone needs a break. The love, service, and support provided by family caregivers can be physically and emotionally draining. To help these loved ones relax and recharge, Evergreen provides a variety of respite care services for elderly individuals. In most situations, an Evergreen member comes into the home for a set number of hours or days—even overnight.

Foster Care

In our foster care program for the elderly, families in the community open their home and provide care for elderly individuals. When we match an individual with a foster family we make sure to consider the needs and personalities of individuals and potential families. Our goal is to create matches that lead to meaningful, loving and long-term relationships. Support may include assistance with meals, personal hygiene, help with medications, getting to doctors’ appointments and companionship.
