Evergreen’s newest Day Center is officially open

The Southeast Division of Evergreen Life Services opened its new Day Center on September 27, and is fine tuning programs and special services for the people it serves throughout South Louisiana.  The impressive new facility, which has the capacity to serve the 110 individuals who reside in Evergreen’s 21 community homes, offers classes in music, sewing, reading, gardening, exercise and vocational training.  Initially, as many as 80 individuals will take part in the wide-ranging activities, with an eye for future expansion.
