Evergreen is very proud of its award recipients from last month’s annual conference by Louisiana Chapter of AAIDD (American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities).

2) Carol Ann Hayes (Central LA Division): We have the pleasure of serving Carol Ann through our waiver program. She received the Making a Difference Award for her extraordinary achievement of not only purchasing a home, but paying the mortgage off early!! What a huge achievement!

Marty worked as an Adaptive Equipment Specialist for 18 Years. His primary responsibility is to fabricate and maintain complex custom wheelchairs for the most medically fragile and anatomically challenged individuals. He is the master craftsman and Evergreen and the individuals we serve are lucky to have him!

She began her service to Evergreen in 2013 and has become a very valuable advocate for the organization, its members, and the people we all serve. She was honored with the Helen Thompson Memorial Award.
