Services
Day Program
Designed to meet the unique social, emotional, and educational needs of individuals with a wide range of disabilities. At the same time, each of our Day Programs provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment where adults with disabilities can learn, grow, nurture relationships with their peers and actively participate in the community around them.
Community Homes
Evergreen provides services in typical home environments where six and eight people with developmental disabilities live. The program is designed to provide training and assistance to help people become as independent as possible. Evergreen staff are present in the home 24/7 and assist the individuals with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, transportation to work and medical appointments.
Supported Employment
This program ensures all individuals who want to work have the opportunity. We strive to assist people with disabilities to obtain real work for competitive wages. Evergreen Life Service staff are trained as effective job coaches and provide assistance that facilitates the individual to thrive and be a productive contributor to the work force.
Home and Community Based Services
A variety of service delivery options to help individuals living in their own home or apartment. Including Supported Independent Living services, Respite services, Personal Care Attendant services and more.
Social Enterprise
Social enterprises raise money for our programs, while also employing individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. With the majority of adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities being either unemployed or underemployed, despite their ability and desire to work in the community, social enterprise programs play a big role in building confidence and providing independence.
Vocational and Prevocational Training
Provides opportunities for people to develop work and functional life skills. Day services provide a place outside the home for individuals with all types of disabilities to be active, socialize with their peers and receive needed health and personal care services. Evergreen strives to provide training and support for individuals served to find jobs in the community with competitive wages. Some locations offer job opportunities in Art Centers, Thrift Shops and other social enterprises.
