Spring is in the air in Texarkana

Spring is in the air in Texarkana! Cigna-HealthSpring partnered with Bowie County Texas Agrilife to help some of the people we serve plant Spring gardens.

These amazing volunteers also taught our folks about how to care for seedlings, what plants to plant and when, and the nutritional information for each plant. The raised beds allows people who aren’t able to be on their feet long or who are in wheelchairs to be able to participate. The group cleared out and planted three out of six beds. We should have quite a harvest!
