Possibilities Antiques & Collectibles Named Community Partner of the Year in Minden, Louisiana
We are thrilled and deeply grateful that Possibilities Antiques & Collectibles was named Community Partner of the Year at the Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce’s 84th Annual Awards Gala on March 24, 2026, in Minden, Louisiana. This honor recognizes the positive impact our vocational training program has on individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and highlights the power of community partnership in building a stronger, more inclusive North Central Louisiana.
A Mission Rooted in Service and Impact
Since 1959, Evergreen Life Services has been committed to its mission: Serve. Provide. Champion. What began in the Minden, Louisiana community, over 65 years ago has grown into an organization serving nearly 1,000 individuals across seven states.
An enterprise of Evergreen, Possibilities Antiques & Collectibles blends purpose with opportunity.
More Than an Antique Store…A Place of Possibility
Founded in 2002, Possibilities Antiques & Collectibles was created to provide job training and meaningful employment for individuals with I/DD. Here, individuals gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and develop skills that support greater independence.
In 2017, the store found its home on Main Street, thanks to the generosity of Mr. James Frazier. Today, Possibilities welcomes visitors from across Louisiana and the world, who come to explore thousands of antique, vintage, and collectible items. Each purchase directly supports a program that strengthens the local workforce and empowers individuals with I/DD.
What truly makes Possibilities special isn’t just what’s on the shelves; it’s what happens behind the scenes. Employees build friendships, connect with customers, and experience a sense of belonging that goes far beyond a traditional workplace. It’s community inclusion in action, and it’s changing lives every day.
A Night to Celebrate Community and Inclusion

The Community Partner of the Year award was proudly accepted by Mario, an individual served by Evergreen and employed at Possibilities, alongside Lesa Hamilton, Executive Director of North Central Louisiana, Terri Howell, and Carla Prioux from Evergreen’s Central Louisiana Division.
Joining them at the ceremony to celebrate this honor were Evergreen Life Services leadership: Kent Craft, Executive Vice President of Administration/CFO; Yvone Smith, Chief of Staff; Cathey Crow, Chief Development Officer; and Meagan Henry, Director of Communications.
