The $25,000 prize will be used to build a new horticultural program

Evergreen’s North Central Texas Division (NCTX) are the proud winners of Spark Tank and a whopping $25,000 grand prize. Spark Tank is a Dallas-based competition for non-profits that is modeled off of the show Shark Tank. Non-profits deliver pitches to a panel of social entrepreneurs, who award grants to the causes that they feel will make the biggest social impact.

Karen Towery, Executive Director of NCTX, delivered a stellar pitch about Evergreen and our Dallas location’s plan to build a horticultural program for the individuals we serve. Karen won over the room, and most importantly, the Spark Tank panel. The $25,000 will be used to build Dallas’ horticultural program.
