Ponchatoula mayor promotes appeal

Mayor Bob Zabbia declared Giving Tuesday and Evergreen Life Services Week at SELA’s Ponchatoula office on November 28, launching divisional support for Evergreen’s national Client Needs Appeal. Guests included Tom Anderson, Ashley Anderson Traylor and Gary N. Boutwell II, representing Anderson & Boutwell, one of the local appeal’s major sponsors. Also present were Rev. Barry Chance, Evergreen Life Services Board member and pastor of First Presbyterian Church (Hammond), and Kim Zabbia, owner of The Art Station (Ponchatoula). Firehouse Subs (Hammond) and Elmer Chocolate (Ponchatoula) donated refreshments and gift items for the event.
